Moving to Waco

Have you been thinking about making a move to Waco Texas? That was something my wife and I talked about for our family nearly everyday for a brief season of our life together. We finally made the decision to do so, and our journey has been an amazing one, filled with many numerous BLESSINGS, and we have had no regret. Our family has been so blessed with all that Waco Texas has to offer… exceedingly more than we could have asked or imagined!

For our family, living in Waco Texas seems to offer so much.  If you’re looking for a great small town with an extremely warm hospitality… and weather… then you might just fit right in!

So you might be asking; “well, what exactly does Waco Texas have to offer?”  There is truly so many amazing things I could say about Waco Texas and how great it is to live here and call this little town our home.   That said, I want to leave you with a little taste of all our family has experienced.  I know I’m going to forget and leave some great things out… but, here we go… here is a small list of all that Waco Texas has to offer:

  • Perfect small town with big city amenities
  • Literally everything is within a 10-15 minute drive!
  • Laid back environment
  • Down to earth people
  • Hospitable culture
  • People say “yes sir” and “yes mam” … and it’s great!
  • Everyone is smiling … and it’s ok to say hello to your neighbor, or the stranger at the store, coffee shop, park, etc… and folks actually say hi back and will have a warm genuine conversation with you! (a very friendly environment)
  • Christian values, families and neighbors
  • Churches located on what seems like every corner
  • Folks here wholeheartedly LOVE JESUS!
  • Great schools… public, private, and many resources and opportunities if you’re homeschooling!
  • Not much of a night life and pretty quiet town
  • A great place for anyone, no matter what walk of life you’re in right now … and a great place to raise a family.

I have been in the real estate industry since 2002, and actually starting out as an appraiser. Before that however, I worked as a residential concrete finisher; which I started as a summer job when I was 13 and over the years worked my way to become a lead foreman. As both a residential appraiser and concrete finisher, the housing and market experience I’ve gained has truly been an asset. Shortly after acquiring my appraiser’s license, I went on to become a Real Estate Broker. Since then it’s been a passion of mine to help families and individuals who are buying, selling, relocating, or investing. In 2004 I purchased my first 2 investment properties and then in 2005 I bought my first primary home. Since then I’ve had over 20+ investment properties including: rentals, lease options, fixer flips, new construction, and vacation rentals. In 2012, I had the opportunity to feature and host a home on HGTV’s “Million Dollar Rooms”. In 2008 I married my beautiful bride on the beach in Maui. We have two amazing boys and a little girl who’s our princess!
